Director Election

Director Election

The busy summer season brings another task for your “to-do” list…the AHR Board of Directors annually seeks candidates to fill leadership seats. The 2018 election includes two regional seats and three at-large seats.

Current AHR members with an interest in running for election are commiting to a monthly conference call, a two-day face-to-face meeting, diligent committee participation, and attendance at AHR events whenever feasible.

The process begins with submission of your name and desired position (regional or at-large). Then answer four questions, keeping your total biography to one page, and send the information via mail or email to Missy Shanahan, Nominating Committee Chair, 6449 State Route 4, Mechanicsburg, OH 43044 or by September 1, 2018.

The Board will review and approve the slate at the September Board meeting. Ballots will be prepared and mailed with a return date late October. Newly elected directors will be invited to participate in the November face-to-face meeting with terms beginning in January, 2019 and serving as so indicated.

Seats for Election include:

1 Eastern Region Director (CT, DE, FL, GA, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, NC, PA, RI, SC, VT, VA, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, & Quebec) for a 2019-2021 term
